I agree with Linsi - all of you deserve to become featured members - and you will in turn. And I do hope, of course, that Linsi will gather her strength and change her mind.

The main purpose of "featured members" is to get to know each other better. Personally I really enjoyed Jacques' pictures this week. I have never met Jacques in person, but he is one of many friends I am making at Asia Observer.

For the two young ladies : Don't be shy. You are so much contributive (is the good word ?) to A.O. so we liked to know more about you.

Linsi, your picture reminded me that almost every night I fell asleep... surfing on A.O.

Even if I never met John, I appreciate very much the hard work he is doing with A.O. (thanks also to Rafael) So I gave him my friendship and try, with no personnal interest, to make our website attractive to peoples who in all the world are interested on Asia.

In France a lot of journalists and scholars introduce me as an Asia Observer. Now I have a website I can identify with.
