On your profile page you can add other members as your friend. They will show up in the tab "My friends"

Here is how you do it:

- First go to the profile page of the person you want to add as your friend.

- On the top of the profile page you find a tab called "Connections". Move the mouse over it - and you are given two alternatives:
"Manage connections" is to do something with the friendships you already have in your profile page. For instance you are allowed to group them if your prefer.
"Request connection" will add this member as your friend.

In short: Choose "Request connection" - and you are done. Now the person will show in your "My friend".
