As you all probably have noticed by now, our forums have been redesigned. On a more technical term we have switched from the Joomlaboard to the Fireboard component.

There are still some adjustments that need to be done, and I would appreciate if you let me know if some things are not working as they should.

But I hope you all agree with me that the new forum is better designed and easier to use!

Yes john, it is much good looking, but what are the differences between "quick reply" "reply" and sorry I forgot the third choise ?

The main difference between "quick reply" and "reply" function is in functionality. "Quick reply" otpion alows you to answer the post right away, on the same web page. however, it lacks some feautres such as topic icons, boardcode and smiley buttons, images and files uploads, etc. All of these features are available in full "reply" option, but it takes you to a new page.

Third button you were refering to is probably "qoute" button. It allows you to quote a message from one of previous posters, and to include it in your post.

I hope this makes it a bit clearer.

Woohoo! I love the new Forums!!! You know, I've been longing to use this QUOTE function. Let's see it's working now.

OMG! i love the style of the forum..maybe john you could redesigned the whole asi observer coz honestly the forum style is not complimenting with the right navy and with the header tabs of asi observer..but this new style ROCKZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

basically quick reply really lacks some features thats why it was called "quick reply" on forums or on other message boards the idea of quick reply is to reply immediately or post the reply quickly so some of the features are not present.

same with the qoutes..
