Why can’t we stop kidding ourselves? Have we had not enough? Are we listening to the calls of the wild or what?

Telling lies, false accusation, false witness are prohibited in every religion.
In Buddhism, which is not the religion but the way of life also prohibits all the wrong doings, or to do blameless actions, to make blameless livelihood .

Buddhism is the teachings of Gautama Buddha, which is for every living creatures and souls on earth and beyond. For forty five years Buddha was teachings to all creatures great and small, and souls of all ages and for all status, for all distinctions, for all classes, Buddha treated them as equals.

The first sermon of Buddha known as the “ The Wheel Of Dhama ”, including “ The Four Noble Truth , The Eight Noble Path and “The Thirty Eight Highest Blessings ”, which I refer to very often are for all of us, lay peoples.

Like schooling, when we put these teachings into practice, and how we put them , we are training ourselves in moral conduct. How well we train ourselves, is up to us, how well we will be trained is up to our teachers , and up to our parents.

Whatever we will be, somebody will be praisesm somebo0dy will get the blames.
" Da Be Makong Saya Goung,- Tharr Thamee Ma Koung Meba Goung ". Why should we let our teachers and our parents get the blames for our doing, our sins.

No doubt our teachers , and our parents will do their best for us , but how much do we take in, how much are we following their guidance to follow these teaching . The will never misguide us, mis lead us . It all come down to us. Though our teachers and parents are doing their best, how best are we ourselves doing, following them , listenning to them are the questions.

Buddha also said, everybody is responsible for him/herself for his/her actions. In Myanmar we say “ Be Thu Ma Pyu - Mi Mi Mhu ”.

In the daily precepts of Buddhism there are five restrictions such as;

To abstain from killings
To abstain from stealing
To abstain from telling lies
To abstain from committing adultery.
To abstain from intoxicants.

Everyone of us know that, nobody has to be Buddhists to understand or follow these. That's good enougn, more then enough.for us lay people.

I don’t know about others in other religions, what I know through books and records is Buddha laid them down, He lived by them, He expected others to live by them. He did not tell us , what he himself could not do, or follow.

These precepts are laid down since over 2550 years ago , they are still valid, relevant. With these what is the world coming to? Without these where will the world be?
We will find these in every religion. If only we who belong to one religion or another if only we all could abided by what it says in every religion, if only we could follow what the Buddhist way of life says, the world we live in will be a real wonderful world. Ir could be Shangri-La, it could also be heaven on earth.

Religions teach us, they way of life shows us, how to build wonderful world, Shangri-La or Heaven on Earth, that we have to live. They also guide us how to make ourselves beautiful people. For that we use make ups and cosmetic for outer beauty, nothing for inner..

As it says in Buddhism that we are responsible for our own actions, what kind of actions are we taken , we have to ask ourselves.

Men makes their own written laws with many loopholes, starting from Mesopotamia. Now known as Iraq.

All people in all religions , everybody in their way of life , try and find their own ways to escape’s from life. After all we all are trying to be the escapists.

Buddha knew that , so he told us how to escape . If you really want to escape, you should follow this path he said. He showed us ways( path) how to escape , but whether we understand him or not, whether we really want to escape or not, we are not sure of ourselves . We don’t pay too much attention to what he told us and what he showed us. May be we don’t bother, we don‘t care. We have no time, we are too busy, and after all life itself is too short to live. Whose is worrying about tomorrow. We are just living, baring in mind what ever will be will be .

In some religion it even said, “ don’t worry about tomorrow, just be real good today. The Lord is be the side you, to guide all the way. Have faith, hope and charity. That‘s the way to live successfully. How do I know? The Bible tells me so ”. Isn’t that nice.

In real essence there is nothing much difference from Buddha’s teachings. Buddha showed us and told us how to escape from circle of life , birth and death. As life itself is too short. . Some people might even blame Buddha for worrying too much, for nothing.

Well that is not all what Buddha said . Let’s go back to the very five precepts. I strongly believe and trust every religion, every way of life and every human beings will agree , not a single human being will disagree with those .

Agreeing is something, applying, or putting into actions or following is another. Everyday, one or the other of us is committing , breaking all these five precepts, or any one of them. many more if there are some more. Some people believe and also said , rules or laws are to be broken.

In the free world , do what you like and pay the price. On the other hand, in Buddhism, if you do the right thing you will be rewarded. For this, Buddha told us showed us, “The Noble Eight Fold Path”.

We are not entirely innocent, nobody is. Its no use, there is no logic, it is not practical pointing at others and blaming others. The question is how innocent are you, how guilty are you.

If we break these five precepts, we are criminals, everyone of us. Others may not know what you do today, but you will sure know yourself. Have you ever check yourself what have you done, against these five precepts , before you go to bed. Have you thought of how you will start tomorrow? Well, that’s up to you, isn’t it. What I am talking about is not only you, its every human being on earth. I am no exception.

Some of us, separate lies as , white lies, black lies. In Myanmar we say “ Mu Thar Mapar - Lingar Machaw ”. Not even the poem will be smooth in rhymes without lies.

There are those who committed crimes by breaking all of these five precepts. They said, its to install for democracy, they said this is for human rights. And they destruct nations, destruct the people, commit genocide, ethnic cleansing, committing crimes against humanity, against another religion, against other beliefs , in the name of freedom.

There are those who support these lies and the liars, these criminals. And they are calling and accusing others , liars, criminals . Who is calling who liars? Like Mahatma Gandhi had said , “ an eye for an eye, makes the whole world blind ” .
We are all liars, we are all criminals , we are who we been accusing others of . Who is better than who?

We don’t have to go back to the stories of over 2550 years ago. To the religions, to the ways of life. We are seeing the true stories that are being made . That are being written, with our very own eyes, while we are living, while we are breathing.

It a great opportunity for those who seeking the Truth, who wants to know the Truth. What more truth they will be seeking, what more Truth they will get, more than these absolute truths.

Using big words does not make anybody a big man or a big woman. Tom Hank wanted to be big, so he spent a quarter at the Zoltan’s machine and he became Big. He got home sick, he had to spend another quarter, to get beck to small again.

We can’t go on like this , we have to do something about it. “What”, is the question. In fact, the answers are already there. Each and everyone of us have to follow the yellow bricks road. Those who need brain will have brain , those who need heart will have heart, those who needs courage will havwe courage.

God did not create the world beautiful, he did it as wonderful world. He created us as beautiful people, so that we can make the world beautiful. That's what I believe anyway.

If you are beautiful , the world will be beautiful.
