it may have been a forced resignation. and based on how she defended herself in the initial onslaught of FIlipino bloggers, it seems her 'apology' is scripted and something that the 2 publications that she was working for has concucted to clear themselves of Malru in the right way.

I think she was humbled by what her employers asked her to do (forced resignation) and not by the ire of the public. it seems like she enjoys publicity..its just that its bad for her employer's business -- and that actually hit home.

There is always a drawing line between insult and criticism and still a fine line to deliver CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM

If we find ourselves in such a situation were we felt people has been drawn away it might be hitting a line were it makes a difference.
