I am not an expert to say which country is the most corrupted country in ASIA but the following link showed 163 out of 193 countries surveyed, the least and the most corrupted countries in Asia as well in the world.

The article about the political system in the philipines brought me to ponder a little about
the situation.

There is really a political anarchygoing on.It also leads to the fact that the country has been declared as the most corrupt in asia.


the list was not complete,'twas declared by foreign investors as usual but the report wether it is biased or politically motivated speaks of one thing.

It points us to look at cambodia and vietnam where
more foreign investors choose to invest rather than the philippines.why? simply because the indeces tell us that foreign investors are profiting there inspite of everything.(corruption, etc..)

why would they invest if it were not so? they would not risk millions or billions of dollars if they donot profit from it.


about other countries which were not included in the listings like perhaps burma etal, burma has long been suffering from the military junta, it does not declare economic and financial report to the world.

(my two cents thoughts)

I don't know if The Philippines are the most corrupt country Asia, but what it is sure, is that when I said to companies looking where to set their South East Asia headquarters and I said the Philippines is best located, they answer no because of corruption. They prefer Hong Kong or Singapore.
