Aung San Suu Kyi' demands (updated) 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Please find the ASSK's demands for why she is refusing the reception of food to her house. According to NLD, it is not sure that she is not eating or performing her hungerstrike.

mainly her 2 demands are

1. Getting Internet access at her house
2. Regular meetings with Dotor Tin Myo Win and her laywer U Kyi win

The number 2 was allowed by the government so that she can meet with her doctor and her lawyer each time she and her doctor or lawyer request.

But the government said they could not allow the number 1.
Therefore she demostrated against the government since 15/08/2008 by refusing the deliver of food from Her Party NLD to her house.
Her lawyer will meet with her today or this sunday 01/09/2008 in order to discuss about how should they do for her remaining demand which is having access internet at her house can be fullfilled and her detention matter. And then NLD will issue a statement if she decides to go on hunger strike for her demands or not.

You can all read her demands on Ko Hitke blog.
http://ko-htike.blogspot.com/2008/08/blog-post_28.html

And further information about this news on: http://burmese.dvb.no/news.php?id=5478
and also on interview with NLD speaker on
Khitpyaing.org

Note:

She has been put into "under house arrest" since May 2003.
Typically, the person under house arrest does not have access to means of communication or with some exception for specific communication with outside under the allowence of the authourity.

Questions for all:

Is she trying to disrepect the existing laws of Myanmar in order to prevent "the return to normality" in Myanmar because she is disqualified to be candidate in an election according to the new consititution approved by 92% of people of Myanmar? The dabate is open for all.

MHK,

I think Ma Su Kyi forgets that she is in Myanmar. Myanmar could have provide her of what she needs. If on;y she does not call or supports the economic sanctions against Myanmar.

TV, computer hard and sioft wares and internet access are to be paid for by foreign currency, at least with FEC.

Ma Su Kyi has violating in hr own way the human rights of the 57 million people ofMyanmar by denying them to be progressed , to be developed.

She deserves no human rights of her own. Her actions and her activities against the people of Myanmar are inhumain. Crime against humanity.

If Ma Su Kyo does not respect the rights of Myanmar human beings. we cannot acknowledge her, recognise her as a human being either.

She has no respect for anybody, not even for the the elders in the NLD leadeship.

She is isolated. lonely, bored. These are the signs which shows she is begining to crack.

If Ma Su Kyi insists she should ask SPDC to arranged with the British to be transferred to Holloway women prison in England to have all the facilities she needs, or what she ask for. TV and commputer , internet access, et., etc..

I have heard, in Hollowey women prison , th women may be lockjed up but they are free to do anything, such as spending with their husband a few hours oir their boy or girl friend for a few hours for the physical desires as well, as human rights.

I think Ma Su Kyi should give serious consideration to have her transfer to England. What they do to her when she get to England is another matter. that will be nothing to do with SPDC.

Regards,

Thunderbolts.
