“ Doing the Right Thing ” . Buddha was the First and Only One who talked about that in his First Summon of Eight Fold Path. ( Maggin 8 pars), wasn’t it?

What is the right thing? For arguments sake , one may be right for one, that same one may be wrong for the other. Is there room to compromise? I don’t know. There are many learned people around. I will leave it to them, to educate us what is right or what is wrong. If there are room, they would have compromised.

This compromise if needs be will come during next generation. Not at the moment or during this generation. If you know what I mean .Because at the moment, with the present situation there is no hope for compromise.

If you look and search, your curiously, your desire to know will be fulfilled. It will be with the truth, but nothing else.

No FD, impossible you expect too much . But we all can be in the same boat, not on the same side. . Sad to say, if we are all on the same side, the boat cannot hold us it will sink, up side down. We need understanding, all of us need a very good understanding in the interest of the people in the interest of the nation for the sake of ourselves for the survival. should I say.

I have been to many countries in all continents should I say, I have seen many things with my own eyes. As I have stated before , one’s right may be wrong for the other. Because we human beings are divided by land and nature. Geographically and by nature, tradition, culture customs and way of life. .they are different but no body is higher or lower than anybody. If some body thinks he/she is higher than the other, there is something terribly wrong some where . That is the very beginning of the conflict. . .

Naturally every body dreams . Too many dreams is unhealthy. Beside, we cannot not build castles in the sand , we cannot built castles in the air. That we must know and accept. There are many other alternative ways to materialised our dreams. What I mean is there is no such thing as no options, of course there are many options.

One of the basis thing is, are we Myanmars ready and prepared.? That question comes up again and again . It is still relevant , don’t you think?

If you have been to Myanmar regularly, not stuck in Yangon alone, roam around all parts of Myanmar 12 corners of it, you will see the progress and developments you will see them with your own eyes. No matter how slow , no matter how small, they may be there are progress and developments in every field. Politically , economically and socially.
Myanmar or SPDC is doing it by itself, with little help from outside. Taken the great responsibility , they are doing it with all the difficulties and hardship, the burden put on them by themselves. Because they love the country so much , because they love the people so much , they are proud being Myanmars.

Why little help, there are lots of those who would like to help Myanmar, SPDC is the one who refuses to accept the helps, said by many sectors. These are the ignorant. Because they don't know the traps that are laid. Some of them seem like the more they learned, the more they are ignorant.

The answer is very simple, clear and straight forward, because Myanmar wants to be free. This answer no matter how true, it may not be liked let alone accepted by some ordinary Myanmars, Some Myanmar people pretend they do not understand. Ignorance is not accepted by law in any nation.

If there are too many ignorant in a country, that country is at a loss.

As you know Union of Myanmar was still born in 1948 . We had civilian government , the last one until 1962 was the democratically elected government headed by U Nu ( Thant-Shin Party ). We nearly had it i.e. Union of Myanmar was like Humty Dumpty, which had a great fll. U Nu was in panic he was in the middle of a pack of hyenas, he was about to be eaten alive. Myanmar was rescued, He was rescued. Don't ask me by who. These hyenas will never forget Tatmadaw and its leaders.

SPDC or Tatmadaw government is a necessity in Myanmar. When it said “ Saving Myanmar “ they were not bluffing, they were not dramatising, they were not exaggerating those who knows the Myanma Thamaing knows and accept. These knowers are from all races in Myanmar.

How many were perished just to save one Private Ryan? That was one soldier, private Ryan , we are talking about Union of Myanmar where ther are 57 millions private Ryans.

All these years it has been proving time an time again Tatmadaw government was a necessity . Whether its civilian or not , a strong, a firm government is needed in Myanmar.

That is where Gen Ne Win and all had to come in. Not as a military government but as a strong and firm government which Union of Myanmar is in need of.

It is natural, it is expected, there will be opposition. There will be those who do not like them, especially a strong Tatmadaw., which is doing the right thing for its nation, as a responsibility, as well as a duty.

Can’t you see there are nations in the world who do not wish to see, who do not like to see other nation politically, economically , socially and militarily strong, let alone to be stronger than them.. They can’t even wait to destroy the strength of that nation, by any means. It will be best, if there are “ Japan Phayong Jet ”, to help them to be successful
like Ma Su Kyi and NLD or Dr. Sein Win and NCGUB. For a few dollars ?

Myanmar is still a foetus yet, it not even born, if I have to put it that way. Since the SLORC took over and later by SPDC, for the benefit and interest of the people SPDC has done a lot of good things.

SPDC was/is like a pregnant woman instead of taking care of the mother and the foetus, everybody kick her , bash her , hit her push her and pull her because they don’t know who the father of the child was. In those days they stoned the mother to dead for having no husband or the father of the child . That is what they are still doing the same to Myanmar and SPDC. May be they don’t want the child (Union of Myanmar ) to be born . The same as they tried 60 years ago. Tatmadaw ( SPDC ) had to defend and protect this pregnancy or the child or the foetus. It is a hard job, very hard. If only there was a civilian government it surely had an abortion there will be no Union of Myanmar.

Whatever had happened or is happening , all come to this. Who is the father of this child.
Was never a question,. King Solomon was called wise, because he told the mothers to pull the child from each side.

Is that what the Myanmars are doing pulling the child from all sides, listening to the advice of Kings Solomon in the west? How many King Solomon are there today? . If so we are killing the child. You may have the head, I may have a leg, he may have a hand, she may have arm. What are we going to do with these pieces that each of us have.

No matter what the Kings have said, in the end it is the “ common sense” of the real mother that saved the life of the children. Who is the real mother of Myanmar. Have no doubt about it FDO, it is the Tatmadaw. This may be an old story, this may be a familiar story, but this is surely a true story my dear friend.

To say , doing the right thing may be easy, right and may be popular , but to do the right thing is not easy , it is a hard job, it is not the popular . It is a very difficult job , especially with out the help ofrom those who are saying, instead they are disturbing.

Democracy is some thing like the salt. Without it everything is tasteless. Democracy is not everything, not too much , not too little. It has to be right to make things tastety. Otherwise it will spoil everything. It will lose the real taste of everything. .

I have seen in may democratic country, a government may be elected by the people , the president may be elected by nthe people as well. Byt when they get to power, the government, the President does what they want by telling the people what they like to hear, including lies after lies.

Those who have seen that kind of government and that kind of President thinks the SPDC is the same. .

This may not be all, you would like to hear, but thi is it.

Your article once again is well written to let anyone who care for the Union of Myanmar future to reflect upon. Personally, I fully understand the present situation of problems of our country. I can see clearly, between those who are trying to get the country moving forward and all those groups who are hell bent on planning and plotting to destroy the Union.

Hope people take off their blinkers.

Thanks. Even to say this thanks some people may not like you or me. That is the situation, that is the p;osition. That is what they mean by the freedom , that is what they mean by the human rights. Some Myanmars can't even talk freely. That is the attitude of opposition that is the behaviour of those who oppose SPDC.

They don‘t know what they are doing. Jesus Christ said before his soul left his body, “ God, forgive them , for they not know what they do”.

Blinkers? That is a good word. Some babies are born with their veil or the mask covering their face. I am not worried for we might be able to take their blinkers off. but for the " Kyaung Taung Kan " or the with their eyes widely shut, we must work more and harder for them to have their eyes open without losing their sight for them to see more clearly as they are .

You may have already noticed that there are more viewers than those who are taken part in this forum and others. That is a good sign, very good sign . They are not the enemies of anybody. In politic there are no permanent enemies , no permanent friends, there are only rivals. This reality , if the opposition accept , that will be a good start for Union of Myanmar. Getting rid of each other is in my view nothing to do with politic. It may be personnel, very personnel. Being snappy, touchy, edgy does not help either. but the common sense will.

If you study the New Constitution. Tatmadaw delegates are there in every steps of the parliament or the Hluttaws. A quarter of them should I say. What does that mean? It means anything, everything it may mean nothing . Say what you like. But we have to look at it from all sides and from all angles. It carries many meanings may be, but to look at it from positive side., I found the following benefits. The negative side , I will leave them for others . They cannot say anything more than “ Tatmadaw Holding Power ”. there is no evidence, or proofs or clues for me to believe and accept that view.

Well 25 percent to the Tatmadaw delegates , 75 percent to the political parties. If that is called Tatmadaw domination in Myanmar politic , then I don't know what they are talking about. I call it total nonsense.

Because in my view it also means, that is multi party democracy , National Reconciliation, Unification., sharing responsibilities or sharing powers, working together, hands in hands, co operations among all walks of life, in each and every division, states Hluttaws, , Unionism ,Federalism , Capitalism, Socialism , may even be Communism. as long as they are the benefit for the nation, for the people, profitable for the nation, for the people, as long as there are peaceful coexistence, there will be more peace and harmony, thus will gurentee more progress and moe developments.

One side theory of Tatmadaw is grabbing the power is out of date. For argument sake. you and I and everybody know that Tatmadaw can hand over the power to the civilian at any time and take it back at any time.

Who will be the head of state? We need somebody as head mof state, for mall 57 million people. We don’t need a Shan or a Chin or a Kachin, or a Kayin, Kayyah a Yakhine or a Mon, a Budhist, or a Christian, or a Muslim or a Hindu as a particular race or religion where there are many national races, and many faith in Myanmar .
Head of state in Myanmar should be the head of state for all Myanmars to represent a nation of 57 million.

In the past we had such Presidents as head of state, from the ethnic races, some people extremists listened to the outsiders , twisted and turned it around to become a race issue. Started using phrases like “ Bamar Lu Myo Gyi Warda “ and created all the problems. Bamar domination. That what they were saying to justify their illegal acts.
That was the attitude, that was the behaviour of some. No matter how small in numbers they are, with the advisers from outside Myanmarb got into troubles , big troubles . These outsiders are giving Myanmar troubles time and again. You cannot blame Myanmar leaders for being xenophobic.

That is why Myanmar leaders are saying if you don’t want to help us , please do not disturb us.

Myanmar needs to be a stable country, with stable economy . Economic, politic and social stability are the most important for the nation of Myanmar.

That makes me think why Barack O Bama becomes so popular in the US with very little political experience . What’s next nobody knows. Union of Myanmar was and is well behind because of the instability for the last 40. Within the last twenty years, there was a considerable stability in Myanmar , and it has progress and it has developments. Nobody can deny that. From 1948 to 2008 . a lot of progress, a lot of developments are there.

We Myanmar are left behind for many reasons. Some of them are , we don’t invade any country, neighbourly or in far away places to rob their riches and their wealth. Instead we were invaded and robbed our riches and our wealth. When we are on our own, we are being denied to progress and to be developments with own riches and our own wealth.

My heart is aching because some of these people are our own Myanmars who are leading or in conspiracy to deny all Myanmars of their human rights , as if Myanmars are no human being al all. I am not going into details to say who trying to dominate the Myanmars. We Myanmars are being divided and exploited by others.

We can also admit that there are many things to be done in Union of Myanmar . The need for the nation is too much the need for the people are too much.

If I am not wrong , there is a class distinction, discrimination in the world . Rich and poor. The rich will never allow the poor to become rich. They cannot afford to lose their position. Can you believe that there are only eight richest nations in the world today? What does that mean?

Myanmar is in the second class or in the third world countries list. It’s been a deliberately policy of the rich to make Myanmar one of the poorest nation. They refused to help Myanmar . That is their part.

Our part is, there is a Myanmar saying, even the king of the Devas ( Thajar min ) can not make everybody satisfied and happy. Human being have been trying their best to make themselves progress and developed, to be satisfied and happy, yet there are still many things they need let alone they want.

As you already noticed that Myanmars are very good at moaning and groaning, even today there is no stop to moaning and groaning. Commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Martyrs day. They may moan and groan but they will forget what Bogyoke Aung San had said to all of us in his last speech. To work hard with discipline. It is hard and difficult to work hard with discipline , but it is easy to moan and groan. So Myanmar take the easy road, I.e. moan and groan . How long are they going to do that, is the question.

On the other hand, to follow Bogyoke Aung San’s advice, to work hard with discipline it is hard and it is difficult, because there are no jobs in Myanmar outsiders and his own daughter namely Ma Su Kyi are making sure there are no jobs for Myanmars, no foreign investments in Myanmar, no imports to Myanmar, no export from Myanmar. So most Myanmars sitting down, doing whatever is available at home , expending big families Myanmars have nothing to work hard for. Thanks to Ma Su Kyi.

Why should SPDC invite her to the ceremony , even she is invited, she may refused to accept , just to snap SPDC. Including foreign diplomats, they may also reject the invitation, just to snap SPDC as well . There will be empty chairs. Knowing this it was right for SPDC not to invite Ma Su Kyi or cancel the invitations to the diplomats.

Here comes the roll of those who called themselves “ civilised people ”. Those never stop of talking about human rights , those who talk about “ respect “, “ self respect”.
“ mutual respect ”.

Myanmar saying is “ Kyee Go Bote Yo Thay Mha - Bote Ko Kyee Ga Yo Thay Me“

That is being lost , not only between foreign and Myanmars leaders, it is between NLD and SPDC, or Ma Su Kyi who doesn’t know the meaning of what “ respect ” is.

Never the less the generals in SPDC are human being , the people in NLD and others are also human beings. They will try their best, but they still will have many things to do to make themselves satisfied and happy to make other satisfied and happy.

Some people believed and said, lack of progress and lack of developments are the cause of lack of democracy and lack of freedom and human rights. There are many definitions to one word , we can pick any one to suit us. Would that be fair?

I don’t believe that, this is the case, because Union of Myanmar was a multi party democratic nation since 1948 till 1962 , a period of 14 years. It had the freedom of everything. You name it, they were there. But for some people it was something else they want. They did not want to be Myanmar at all. That was the problem.

The “ want” and the “ need “ are two different things. A song dedicated to the American civil wars said, they were hungry and barely alive and suggested to take what they need and leave the rest . I am not sure, but I think it was the song by the title of “The Night They Drove The Dixie Down ”

Myanmars are philosophical people or followers of Buddha’s teaching , but they can not leave anything, because they want everything, Their wants are their needs. And they want them FREE. What they need they will take, what they don’t need they will keep it for future need. That is how “ Padaythabins “ were lost or disappeared, I am told.

Some people may not like what I will say, which is I believe, Myanmar people have lack of education, they are lacking in general knowledge. In another word , they don’t have any awareness. Political, economical and social awareness. Myanmars don’t have enough basic education . To know right and wrong. Because they are always busy in the fields, or at the monasteries. The field education and monastic education they are getting are not enough to build a modern developed nation.

Do they know that, is that in their favour or in favours of the exploiters?

Whoever the present government is , whoever will be the next government, there will be many priorities. One of them should be to give the people of next general the RIGHT EDUCATION, to fit into the future world.

If the so called the International Community, including United Nations and ASEAN, if they are sincere and honest on Myanmar. They know what they can do to help Myanmars to be able to help themselves to help the world in return..

I am hearing UN aid to Myanmar cyclone disaster is halted, the reasons may be many, excuses may be plenty. I am also hearing the aid workers from “ Doctors with no Frontiers”, saying , Myanmar’s cyclone disasters is not as bad as previously expected.

This is a one occasion, one off thing. Myanmar has along way to go. Blinkers can be removed, Kyaung Taung Kan cannot be helped, my dear Polaris, any idea?
