Why SPDC refused to accept some aid & aid workers. 1 Month, 2 Weeks ago Karma: -2
Dear Patriots,

SPDC is blamed, and criticised for not accepting foreign aid workers and some foreign helps.

Many people talk about many things about Myanmar. They are free to say what they like. And they are saying. At least to free their minds. To clear up their chests. But they don’t go far enough to look at an issue.

Why Myanmar refused some aid? Are they refusing to accept the AID or are they refusing to accept the FOREIGN AID WORKERS? What is it? Both in some cases may be.

Nobody bother to tell us what the real problems are. Only thing we are hearing is SPDC refused to accept aid. Myanmar refuse to accept foreign journalists Myanmar refused to accept US aid and helicopters. That’s all we are hearing. There must be something going on behind I am sure

Here is my perspective, why they are refusing some. Myanma invited helps and aid, will accept them with no condition , without condition.

Myanmar saying is “ Akhu Shote Mha Noung Shin ” . If you are making things complicated now, you have to solve them later. Myanmar is already a complicated nation. Because people made everything complicated in Myanmar some times ago. They are not solved yet, so we don’t need anymore complications let alone, we want them

“ Talote Sar Bu -Thu Kyey Zu “. that is another Myanmar saying. Don’t let yourself drown in the pot of debts of gratitude.

In the wake of disaster and devastation in Myanmar, many countries kindly offer aid, and help. How can we not thank them. What kind of aid does Myanmar need? Food , clothing and shelters and some medicines. Myanmars been living with their own local medicines for centuries, if not thousand of years. These are for temporary aid and help for a very short term. For twenty yers Myanmar been denied everything by the west.

As a matter of fact. Tarpaulin tents for shelters , biscuits and some used clothing from Oxfam will help Myanmars. In Myanmar way of life , food, clothing and shelters are nothing. Most of them half naked people living in bamboo huts, and eating whatever they can get Ngpi, Nga Pya Yey and Tozayaer or bamboo shoots, fresh water fish from streams, ponds and lake and rivers. They consider themselves lucky if they have some meat or poultry from time to time . But they are not worried, because this is their way of life. Say what you want.

To bring them up from that way of life or to transform to get use to modern way of life and living, Myanmar needs a lot of aid and help Myanmars need more then food for sure. Whatever they eat in the morning and they shit in the after-noon. These tarpaulin tents may look better then their bamboo huts, yet they are not for life. And the used clothes are not for life either. In fact Myanmars are not familiar to used clothes, a second hand or third hands . If they cannot afford it , they wear nothing bear backs.

Today Myanmar, the whole nation and the all 57 million are denied their rights to be human beings , their human standards , they are classed as, treated as the people of third world country. Because of some Myanmar people who are devaluing the value of Myanmars as people and Myanmar as a nation.

In this disaster we have seen our own people, who are no better than the beggars. Some Myanmars are making Myanmars to become beggars . They themselves are the beggars in other countries. They know who they are.

Though what happened in Myanmar is a natural disaster, the helps and aid some countries are offering should be considered very carefully. Can Myanmar do without them ? Is there no other source for Myanmar to get them with out political strings, economical string or social strings? That is the job for the leaders to decide.

It may be a humanitarian aid, but what is behind the curtain, what is behind the closed door, what is under the carpet? In the world of politic, not every thing can be taken a face value. Look at the dotted lines, look at the small prints, read them carefully and understand them. Do not sign your own death warrant.

You can be simple and honest to yourself and towards others, but don’t expect other to do the same towards you. Not everything is what you think they are, not everyone is what you think they are.

It is humanitarian, pure humanitarian matter, nobody can deny that. That itself is the soft point, Achilles heel for Myanmar, I have said it before . Humanitarian matter is no reason to manipulate, to undermine, to influence, to belittled somebody or to take a counttry a hostage. For some people who are seeking to get involved in Myanmar it is a great opportunity for them for all the reasons, if not excuses.

As expected it is happening some people are taken advantage of this situation and even saying with or without the authorization from SPDC they will go i to Myanmar. That is an invasion. That will break international laws and rules. That will be the disrespect to the sovereign nation. And some opposition are supporting the idea. Putting more and more pressures on SPDC.

Unites States is offering the helicopters from its air craft carrier. Nobody knows how these helicopter are equipped with. Most of US war machines which are on the war ship are to use for war. Though US offers Myanmars pilots to accompany in their helicopters, Myanmar pilots can only navigate them to the areas, but they surely do not know how to operate their sophisticated high tech equipments, where the spy equipments are on these war machines, who knows.

It is against any countries’ constitution especially the Myanmar to invite a foreign military force into Myanmar. United States never consider Myanmar to be its friend, everyone know that. When US offers helps Myanmar has to put many things and circumstance into consideration. That is a wise thing to do.

When Myanmar said, leave us the aid, we will do the rest , somebody did not like it, why, why, why and why? The answers are there whether we like it or not. If they are sincere and honest whay can't they leave them at the air port.

Myanmar is being look upon as an enemy state by the US, because it is friendly with the enemies of US . Myanmar is look upon as rouge state, axel of terrorism by US. Myanmar is look upon by US and EU as a threat to the region, a threat to the world peace.

Do Myanmar has to trust US or UK or EU. In that sense? NO, likewise US, UK and EU don’t trust Myanmar. Myanmar a threat to them and to the region? It is funny enough, a tree will laugh, a mountain will smile.

They don’t trust each other. Myanmars were called many names, Myanamr leaders were called many names and accused of many things. They are confined to their country they can not go out to Europe or US. Myanmar leader according to US and its cronies, are not human

I will come back to that later.

Aiding those who needs them in the disaster areas, especially flooded area. I have seen it many times in other countries. Air drop 25 percent into the hands of those who needs and 75 percent into the flood water, damaging the food making food not even good enough for animals.

In my eyes people are treated like animals. Aid workers on the planes , dropping food , as if they are feeding the animals down below, such as pigs in the pens, dogs in the yards. The value of human being is lost. These people have no value at all, the way aid workers treated them.

Who takes the credit? Of course the donor countries . Saying “ we help them , we are the saviours, we have done the good deeds ”

Do they really help them or just for media sake, just for photo opportunity, for propaganda purpose?

Why are there so many countries in the world which needs helps, which need aid? Why is the world divided into rich and poor countries? Why are they rich why are they poor? Is it the will of God, or the will of men? Is this has to be that way?

By accepting help and aid from some countries, some leaders think very deeply. Especially leaders in Myanmar? What are the strings, what are the conditions, what will be the consequences? What will be the debt of gratitude . What do they have to give in return. They have to put everything, politic, economic and socially issues into consideration, the long term effects. This may be a free world in theories, but not in practice.

Though this is a pure humanitarian matter, how many people take it as pure humanitarian matter, how many people take it as pure opportunity to do what they want, to say what they like . This is translated as an opportunity even to invade a country if they want, while the country is in desperation..

The authorities with the national security and security of the people in their mind cannot be careless. Especially at the time US warships are there about 60 miles off Myanmar coast, they were there to have joint military exercise with Thai military, but are ready and prepared to help Myanmar in this case, that is according to them, too good to be true.

As I have said many times before, Myanmar without this disaster, is having difficulties on its own, not enough electricity, no communication, not enough transport by river or by air and other ways, they are limited.

Besides Myanmar officials on the ground cannot do a thing with their own initiative. That we all know. Theyn have to take orders or instructions.

Myanmar in this devastation , no electricity , roads and rail to the area were flooded cut off. Even for the residents. Foreign aid workers

Myanmar has lost many lives, during these 60 years, due to many reasons due to many people, due to many outside influences. The loss of lives in this disaster is not desirable but it may be blessings in disguiss.

Here we come again, economic sanctions, embargoes , denial of loans, refusal investments, no tourists etc., etc. will kill off Myanmars as a human race.

Myanmar needs another kind of aid which are more then just food, just clothing and just shelters. These are only for short term.

Lifting of economic sanctions and embargoes, start foreign investments, loans and pure aid will be the beginning of New Myanmar. These are for long term.

Myanmar needs , roads, transport, rail transport, river transport and air transport to be developed. Housings, hospitals, schools, colleges and universities for science and technology. People need decent jobs with decent wages. Young people need to be trained, skill people are needed, professions are needed.

Again no politicking , more than pure humanitarian aid and help are needed for Myanmar whether we live there or not.

Regards,

Thunderbolts.
