Thanks for writing God's Law.
People think they can make what they want.
People said that we trust in God. But most of the people trust themselves than in God. There may be more damages in the world if things are going the same.

Re:God's Law/Words ( Ten Commandments ) 3 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 5
Amen !!!

I would like to point out that many human beings now in the 21st Century thinks they are great (their egos are sky high) in fact we the earthlings or humans that lives on the third planet of the solar system is extremely ‘primitive’. We humans don’t even know much about our earth let alone to understand our moon or our neighbor planet Venus or Mars. They don’t know what is below the Oceans nor in the sky above us. With little knowledge they exaggerate and pretend they know everything. The majority of the humans are obsessed with material things including money, status, position and power. Including Christians. This is just a ‘reminder’ to people that God exist. Just because the primitive humans did not know the truth, they just call it “natural disaster”. There is purpose in every events on earth especially the major ones. Starting from 9/11 to Cyclones, Hurricanes, floods, famine, diseases, earthquakes and so on. Just because they don’t understand fully they sweep it all with “natural disasters” or “man made disasters”. Even Albert Einstein, the father of modern science search the “minds” of God and he himself acknowledge the existence of God and he died searching, but he cannot read the mind of God (he fail). I understand there are many who do not accept nor believe in true, one and only God who makes the BIG BANG and created the Universe.

I am NOT teaching nor enticing nor advocating for people to change for anything. I AM JUST REMINDING PEOPLE THAT THERE IS ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD, IN PROOF AND IN REALITY. Some even say there is no Jesus Christ. Jesus is a Jew. The Jews didn’t even acknowledge that Jesus is the Messiah. That is why Jews are being punished although they are the chosen people of God. Jesus and Jews are intertwine. If there is no Jesus, THEN there is no Jews on earth. Are there not Jews living on earth? I can argue on and on but I know there is none to confront me and argue. Just because people don’t know the truth they categorically ignore it and say something like ‘natural disaster’ and ‘pretend’ they know. You know how humans are?

God didn't create many laws like the humans. Those are the ONLY laws God wants humans to follow/adhere. All humans including me cannot adhere just 10 laws God wants and that is why we the humans are all sinners in God's eyes and yet, yes yet God did not punished us ALL. See how great his love is for us?

Dear friends,

I am a Buddhist so I believe in karma. We get what we did in the past. If we did good deeds, good results will come. If we did bad deeds, bad results will come.

Buddhist believe in rebirth so we take into the calculation "what we did in the past".

For example, if we are doing bad things now, we will get bad results in the future in this very life and in many life times to come.

According to your belief “karma” you should know very well what the Burmese military or the rulers or even the Burmese (Bamars) did to their fellow citizens Christians. You may know or you may not know, you may pretend to know/don’t know I really don’t know. What I know is the damage had been done. Yes, there is a clause in the constitutions of 1947, 1974 and now 2008 (freedom of religion) but it is just that, clause written in a piece of paper that the rulers didn’t adhere. My question is…………what is the meaning or weight or essence of laws if they are not follow/adhere or enforced? What’s the point of writing something that not even enforced or respect? What’s the point?

Yes, you should go back to the past of what the Buddhists majority had done to the minority citizens of Myanmar for according to YOUR BELIEF you guys/gals had done something terribly wrong for God to punish this much, this magnitude. I had seen/heard many Cyclones, Hurricanes including Katrina in USA but I had never seen such a Cyclone take a path (I study the path of Nargis) that deliberately attack the Irrawaddy delta, the rice bowl of Myanmar and the most populous areas of the Union of Myanmar. The 5 regions’ population that the junta had declare affected takes up 65% of the entire nation‘s population. The possibility of wide spread starvation, famine, disease and death in Millions is looming in this densely populated regions of Myanmar affected by Nargis. The ripple effects of Nargis (and the junta's behavior) is bound to impound more chaos and misery.

As for me I do not interfere God’s work. I leave everything in God’s hand or God’s will for heaven and earth belongs to him. When God attack no standing military (Mighty China or Mighty Myanmar or Mighty USA) can defend. Both the strong military of Myanmar and China have to assist the dead and hurt/wounded people of their respective countries AFTER the devastation/damage had been done within just 10 days. Within 10 days the world witness the desvastations of biblical proportion. See how helpless these mighty militaries (China and Myanmar)are in the attack of God’s will? Please rest assure………………this is just the beginning, for there more yet to come.

Dear Miramar,

Just for the record, are you a Christian or a Muslim.

I have respect for all religious beliefs and even beliefs that do not believe in the existence of God.

However, trying to stir up hatred using religion will not help in this great hour of national calamity.

That is all I wish to say now.

To all Religious Nuts,

This world is not short of wars and conflicts, resulting in mayhem, death, and maims. We are witnessing many conflicts in all corners of the world, between Catholics and Protestants, between Shiites and Sunnis, Muslims and Christians, Muslims and Jews, between Hammas and Fatah both Palestinians, between Arabs and Africans descents, and between Hindus and Muslims, you name it, we got it all.

The main culprit is the United States Foreign Policy, creating instability in other countries from Latin America to Asia including Europe and Middle East.

Now, I am seeing religious nuts coming on the AO. They claimed to be pious posting passages from the Bible, but instead of putting out a fire if there is one, they are adding more fuel to it. They do not practice according to the teachings, but only recite from the Book. I would rather try my best to extinguish the fire and attempt to cool down the simmering heat so as not to ignite again into a fire.

2008 - God's
Final Witness
From now until the latter part of 2008, many prophecies are going to begin to be fulfilled, especially the Seven Thunders of the Book of Revelation, which the apostle John saw but was restricted from recording. Those thunders are revealed in this book, as well as detailed accounts of the final three and one-half years of man's self-rule on earth, which are recorded in the account of the Seventh Seal of Revelation.

Some of these prophecies concern the demise of the United States over the next year, which will be followed by man's final world war. This last war will be the result of clashing ...more

The Prophesied
End-Time

The end-time has come. Hundreds of millions will die in the worst time of tribulation the world has ever known. You need to be informed so you can know how to respond.

The Prophesied End-Time will challenge readers as they consider catastrophic end-time events that are prophesied to begin very soon. Although many will not take seriously what is written here, they will gradually experience disbelief as the events covered in this book begin to unfold.

These events will begin with more acts of terrorism, along with natural disasters, that will far exceed the devastation of 9/11. ...more

This world will be a much better planet if religious nuts truly practice according to tenets laid down in the Bible rather than quote passages from it.

For the record, I had the right NOT to reveal what religious faith I'm into or belong. It is my right and my choosing. All I want to say is there is God. The existence of God is real and I absolutely acknowledge it. I also believe there is ONE and ONLY true God. Religion was created by humans and humans was created by God. This much I will say/reveal for now. There is nothing to stir or invoke anything. I am just presenting the truth nothing but the whole truth so help me God.

By the way………………………

People can look at my user name logo/picture. This picture represent something from the Book of Revelation in the Bible. Some will understand the meaning encoded in this picture. I believe very few can explain or understand the meaning of my user name logo. This logo represent many factors that will happen in the future. In other words, it is THE “Prophesized Picture“. Can any highly intelligent brilliant minds reveal its meanings?

Re:God's Law/Words ( Ten Commandments ) 3 Months ago Karma: 5
Here are the ancient events that I want to remind people of 21st Century.
Why is Egypt so ancient and why are there so many artifacts in Egypt that Egypt is the only nation where scientific researchers are named “Egyptologists” ?
Mummies, Pyramids, stone inscribe letters, paintings and so on are available and there are many to be uncovered and to understand. Even the most “learned” Professors of Egyptology haven’t learn nothing yet for there are many to be learn concerning with Egypt.

Let me place the events written in the Bible. Remember in those ancient times Pharaohs are so powerful that their words are the command/laws of the land. These powerful Pharaohs does not believe in God nor accept God as their lord. They are very hard headed or hardliner dictators in their time.
Here it goes from the Bible…………………….

The Holy Bible, New International Version.

Aaron to Speak for Moses

Ex 6:28 Now when the LORD spoke to Moses in Egypt,
Ex 6:29 he said to him, “I am the LORD. k Tell Pharaoh king of Egypt everything I tell you.”
Ex 6:30 But Moses said to the LORD, “Since I speak with faltering lips, l why would Pharaoh listen to me?”
Ex 7:1 Then the LORD said to Moses, “See, I have made you like God m to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet. n
Ex 7:2 You are to say everything I command you, and your brother Aaron is to tell Pharaoh to let the Israelites go out of his country.
Ex 7:3 But I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, o and though I multiply my miraculous signs and wonders p in Egypt,
Ex 7:4 he will not listen q to you. Then I will lay my hand on Egypt and with mighty acts of judgment r I will bring out my divisions, s my people the Israelites.
Ex 7:5 And the Egyptians will know that I am the LORD t when I stretch out my hand u against Egypt and bring the Israelites out of it.”
Ex 7:6 Moses and Aaron did just as the LORD commanded v them.
Ex 7:7 Moses was eighty years old w and Aaron eighty-three when they spoke to Pharaoh.

Aaron’s Staff Becomes a Snake

Ex 7:8 The LORD said to Moses and Aaron,
Ex 7:9 “When Pharaoh says to you, ‘Perform a miracle, x ’ then say to Aaron, ‘Take your staff and throw it down before Pharaoh,’ and it will become a snake.” y
Ex 7:10 So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and did just as the LORD commanded. Aaron threw his staff down in front of Pharaoh and his officials, and it became a snake.
Ex 7:11 Pharaoh then summoned wise men and sorcerers, z and the Egyptian magicians a also did the same things by their secret arts: b
Ex 7:12 Each one threw down his staff and it became a snake. But Aaron’s staff swallowed up their staffs.
Ex 7:13 Yet Pharaoh’s heart c became hard and he would not listen d to them, just as the LORD had said.

The Plague of Blood

Ex 7:14 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Pharaoh’s heart is unyielding; e he refuses to let the people go.
Ex 7:15 Go to Pharaoh in the morning as he goes out to the water. f Wait on the bank of the Nile g to meet him, and take in your hand the staff that was changed into a snake.
Ex 7:16 Then say to him, ‘The LORD, the God of the Hebrews, has sent me to say to you: Let my people go, so that they may worship h me in the desert. But until now you have not listened. i
Ex 7:17 This is what the LORD says: By this you will know that I am the LORD: j With the staff that is in my hand I will strike the water of the Nile, and it will be changed into blood. k
Ex 7:18 The fish in the Nile will die, and the river will stink; l the Egyptians will not be able to drink its water.’ ” m
Ex 7:19 The LORD said to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Take your staff n and stretch out your hand o over the waters of Egypt—over the streams and canals, over the ponds and all the reservoirs’—and they will turn to blood. Blood will be everywhere in Egypt, even in the wooden buckets and stone jars.”
Ex 7:20 Moses and Aaron did just as the LORD had commanded. p He raised his staff in the presence of Pharaoh and his officials and struck the water of the Nile, q and all the water was changed into blood. r
Ex 7:21 The fish in the Nile died, and the river smelled so bad that the Egyptians could not drink its water. Blood was everywhere in Egypt.
Ex 7:22 But the Egyptian magicians s did the same things by their secret arts, t and Pharaoh’s heart u became hard; he would not listen to Moses and Aaron, just as the LORD had said.
Ex 7:23 Instead, he turned and went into his palace, and did not take even this to heart.
Ex 7:24 And all the Egyptians dug along the Nile to get drinking water v , because they could not drink the water of the river.

The Plague of Frogs

Ex 7:25 Seven days passed after the LORD struck the Nile.
Ex 8:1 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and say to him, ‘This is what the LORD says: Let my people go, so that they may worship w me.
Ex 8:2 If you refuse to let them go, I will plague your whole country with frogs. x
Ex 8:3 The Nile will teem with frogs. They will come up into your palace and your bedroom and onto your bed, into the houses of your officials and on your people, y and into your ovens and kneading troughs. z
Ex 8:4 The frogs will go up on you and your people and all your officials.’ ”
Ex 8:5 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Stretch out your hand with your staff a over the streams and canals and ponds, and make frogs b come up on the land of Egypt.’ ”
Ex 8:6 So Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt, and the frogs c came up and covered the land.
Ex 8:7 But the magicians did the same things by their secret arts; d they also made frogs come up on the land of Egypt.
Ex 8:8 Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said, “Pray e to the LORD to take the frogs away from me and my people, and I will let your people go to offer sacrifices f to the LORD.”
Ex 8:9 Moses said to Pharaoh, “I leave to you the honor of setting the time g for me to pray for you and your officials and your people that you and your houses may be rid of the frogs, except for those that remain in the Nile.”
Ex 8:10 “Tomorrow,” Pharaoh said. Moses replied, “It will be as you say, so that you may know there is no one like the LORD our God. h
Ex 8:11 The frogs will leave you and your houses, your officials and your people; they will remain only in the Nile.”
Ex 8:12 After Moses and Aaron left Pharaoh, Moses cried out to the LORD about the frogs he had brought on Pharaoh.
Ex 8:13 And the LORD did what Moses asked. i The frogs died in the houses, in the courtyards and in the fields.
Ex 8:14 They were piled into heaps, and the land reeked of them.
Ex 8:15 But when Pharaoh saw that there was relief, j he hardened his heart k and would not listen to Moses and Aaron, just as the LORD had said.

The Plague of Gnats

Ex 8:16 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Stretch out your staff l and strike the dust of the ground,’ and throughout the land of Egypt the dust will become gnats.”
Ex 8:17 They did this, and when Aaron stretched out his hand with the staff and struck the dust of the ground, gnats m came upon men and animals. All the dust throughout the land of Egypt became gnats.
Ex 8:18 But when the magicians n tried to produce gnats by their secret arts, o they could not. And the gnats were on men and animals.
Ex 8:19 The magicians said to Pharaoh, “This is the finger p of God.” But Pharaoh’s heart q was hard and he would not listen, r just as the LORD had said.

The Plague of Flies

Ex 8:20 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Get up early in the morning s and confront Pharaoh as he goes to the water and say to him, ‘This is what the LORD says: Let my people go, so that they may worship t me.
Ex 8:21 If you do not let my people go, I will send swarms of flies on you and your officials, on your people and into your houses. The houses of the Egyptians will be full of flies, and even the ground where they are.
Ex 8:22 “ ‘But on that day I will deal differently with the land of Goshen, u where my people live; v no swarms of flies will be there, so that you will know w that I, the LORD, am in this land.
Ex 8:23 I will make a distinction between my people and your people. x This miraculous sign will occur tomorrow.’ ”
Ex 8:24 And the LORD did this. Dense swarms of flies poured into Pharaoh’s palace and into the houses of his officials, and throughout Egypt the land was ruined by the flies. y
Ex 8:25 Then Pharaoh summoned z Moses and Aaron and said, “Go, sacrifice to your God here in the land.”
Ex 8:26 But Moses said, “That would not be right. The sacrifices we offer the LORD our God would be detestable to the Egyptians. a And if we offer sacrifices that are detestable in their eyes, will they not stone us?
Ex 8:27 We must take a three-day journey b into the desert to offer sacrifices c to the LORD our God, as he commands us.”
Ex 8:28 Pharaoh said, “I will let you go to offer sacrifices to the LORD your God in the desert, but you must not go very far. Now pray d for me.”
Ex 8:29 Moses answered, “As soon as I leave you, I will pray to the LORD, and tomorrow the flies will leave Pharaoh and his officials and his people. Only be sure that Pharaoh does not act deceitfully e again by not letting the people go to offer sacrifices to the LORD.”
Ex 8:30 Then Moses left Pharaoh and prayed to the LORD, f
Ex 8:31 and the LORD did what Moses asked: The flies left Pharaoh and his officials and his people; not a fly remained.
Ex 8:32 But this time also Pharaoh hardened his heart g and would not let the people go.

The Plague on Livestock

Ex 9:1 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and say to him, ‘This is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says: “Let my people go, so that they may worship h me.”
Ex 9:2 If you refuse to let them go and continue to hold them back,
Ex 9:3 the hand i of the LORD will bring a terrible plague j on your livestock in the field—on your horses and donkeys and camels and on your cattle and sheep and goats.
Ex 9:4 But the LORD will make a distinction between the livestock of Israel and that of Egypt, k so that no animal belonging to the Israelites will die.’ ”
Ex 9:5 The LORD set a time and said, “Tomorrow the LORD will do this in the land.”
Ex 9:6 And the next day the LORD did it: All the livestock l of the Egyptians died, m but not one animal belonging to the Israelites died.
Ex 9:7 Pharaoh sent men to investigate and found that not even one of the animals of the Israelites had died. Yet his heart n was unyielding and he would not let the people go. o

The Plague of Boils

Ex 9:8 Then the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, “Take handfuls of soot from a furnace and have Moses toss it into the air in the presence of Pharaoh.
Ex 9:9 It will become fine dust over the whole land of Egypt, and festering boils p will break out on men and animals throughout the land.”
Ex 9:10 So they took soot from a furnace and stood before Pharaoh. Moses tossed it into the air, and festering boils broke out on men and animals.
Ex 9:11 The magicians q could not stand before Moses because of the boils that were on them and on all the Egyptians.
Ex 9:12 But the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart r and he would not listen s to Moses and Aaron, just as the LORD had said to Moses.

The Plague of Hail

Ex 9:13 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Get up early in the morning, confront Pharaoh and say to him, ‘This is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says: Let my people go, so that they may worship t me,
Ex 9:14 or this time I will send the full force of my plagues against you and against your officials and your people, so you may know u that there is no one like v me in all the earth.
Ex 9:15 For by now I could have stretched out my hand and struck you and your people w with a plague that would have wiped you off the earth.
Ex 9:16 But I have raised you up for this very purpose, x that I might show you my power y and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.
Ex 9:17 You still set yourself against my people and will not let them go.
Ex 9:18 Therefore, at this time tomorrow I will send the worst hailstorm z that has ever fallen on Egypt, from the day it was founded till now. a
Ex 9:19 Give an order now to bring your livestock and everything you have in the field to a place of shelter, because the hail will fall on every man and animal that has not been brought in and is still out in the field, and they will die.’ ”
Ex 9:20 Those officials of Pharaoh who feared b the word of the LORD hurried to bring their slaves and their livestock inside.
Ex 9:21 But those who ignored c the word of the LORD left their slaves and livestock in the field.
Ex 9:22 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward the sky so that hail will fall all over Egypt—on men and animals and on everything growing in the fields of Egypt.”
Ex 9:23 When Moses stretched out his staff toward the sky, the LORD sent thunder d and hail, e and lightning flashed down to the ground. So the LORD rained hail on the land of Egypt;
Ex 9:24 hail fell and lightning flashed back and forth. It was the worst storm in all the land of Egypt since it had become a nation. f
Ex 9:25 Throughout Egypt hail struck everything in the fields—both men and animals; it beat down everything growing in the fields and stripped every tree. g
Ex 9:26 The only place it did not hail was the land of Goshen, h where the Israelites were. i
Ex 9:27 Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron. “This time I have sinned,” j he said to them. “The LORD is in the right, k and I and my people are in the wrong.
Ex 9:28 Pray l to the LORD, for we have had enough thunder and hail. I will let you go; m you don’t have to stay any longer.”
Ex 9:29 Moses replied, “When I have gone out of the city, I will spread out my hands n in prayer to the LORD. The thunder will stop and there will be no more hail, so you may know that the earth o is the LORD'S.
Ex 9:30 But I know that you and your officials still do not fear p the LORD God.”
Ex 9:31 (The flax and barley q were destroyed, since the barley had headed and the flax was in bloom.
Ex 9:32 The wheat and spelt, r however, were not destroyed, because they ripen later.)
Ex 9:33 Then Moses left Pharaoh and went out of the city. He spread out his hands toward the LORD; the thunder and hail stopped, and the rain no longer poured down on the land.
Ex 9:34 When Pharaoh saw that the rain and hail and thunder had stopped, he sinned again: He and his officials hardened their hearts.
Ex 9:35 So Pharaoh’s heart s was hard and he would not let the Israelites go, just as the LORD had said through Moses.

The Plague of Locusts

Ex 10:1 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart t and the hearts of his officials so that I may perform these miraculous signs u of mine among them
Ex 10:2 that you may tell your children v and grandchildren how I dealt harshly w with the Egyptians and how I performed my signs among them, and that you may know that I am the LORD.” x
Ex 10:3 So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said to him, “This is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says: ‘How long will you refuse to humble y yourself before me? Let my people go, so that they may worship me.
Ex 10:4 If you refuse z to let them go, I will bring locusts a into your country tomorrow.
Ex 10:5 They will cover the face of the ground so that it cannot be seen. They will devour what little you have left b after the hail, including every tree that is growing in your fields. c
Ex 10:6 They will fill your houses d and those of all your officials and all the Egyptians—something neither your fathers nor your forefathers have ever seen from the day they settled in this land till now.’ ” e Then Moses turned and left Pharaoh.
Ex 10:7 Pharaoh’s officials said to him, “How long will this man be a snare f to us? Let the people go, so that they may worship the LORD their God. Do you not yet realize that Egypt is ruined?” g
Ex 10:8 Then Moses and Aaron were brought back to Pharaoh. “Go, worship h the LORD your God,” he said. “But just who will be going?”
Ex 10:9 Moses answered, “We will go with our young and old, with our sons and daughters, and with our flocks and herds, because we are to celebrate a festival i to the LORD.”
Ex 10:10 Pharaoh said, “The LORD be with you—if I let you go, along with your women and children! Clearly you are bent on evil.
Ex 10:11 No! Have only the men go; and worship the LORD, since that’s what you have been asking for.” Then Moses and Aaron were driven out of Pharaoh’s presence.
Ex 10:12 And the LORD said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand j over Egypt so that locusts will swarm over the land and devour everything growing in the fields, everything left by the hail.”
Ex 10:13 So Moses stretched out his staff k over Egypt, and the LORD made an east wind blow across the land all that day and all that night. By morning the wind had brought the locusts; l
Ex 10:14 they invaded all Egypt and settled down in every area of the country in great numbers. Never before had there been such a plague of locusts, m nor will there ever be again.
Ex 10:15 They covered all the ground until it was black. They devoured n all that was left after the hail—everything growing in the fields and the fruit on the trees. Nothing green remained on tree or plant in all the land of Egypt.
Ex 10:16 Pharaoh quickly summoned o Moses and Aaron and said, “I have sinned p against the LORD your God and against you.
Ex 10:17 Now forgive q my sin once more and pray r to the LORD your God to take this deadly plague away from me.”
Ex 10:18 Moses then left Pharaoh and prayed to the LORD. s
Ex 10:19 And the LORD changed the wind to a very strong west wind, which caught up the locusts and carried them into the Red Sea. Not a locust was left anywhere in Egypt.
Ex 10:20 But the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart, t and he would not let the Israelites go.

The Plague of Darkness

Ex 10:21 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward the sky so that darkness u will spread over Egypt—darkness that can be felt.”
Ex 10:22 So Moses stretched out his hand toward the sky, and total darkness v covered all Egypt for three days.
Ex 10:23 No one could see anyone else or leave his place for three days. Yet all the Israelites had light in the places where they lived. w
Ex 10:24 Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and said, “Go, x worship the LORD. Even your women and children y may go with you; only leave your flocks and herds behind.” z
Ex 10:25 But Moses said, “You must allow us to have sacrifices and burnt offerings a to present to the LORD our God.
Ex 10:26 Our livestock too must go with us; not a hoof is to be left behind. We have to use some of them in worshiping the LORD our God, and until we get there we will not know what we are to use to worship the LORD.”
Ex 10:27 But the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart, b and he was not willing to let them go.
Ex 10:28 Pharaoh said to Moses, “Get out of my sight! Make sure you do not appear before me again! The day you see my face you will die.”
Ex 10:29 “Just as you say,” Moses replied, “I will never appear c before you again.”

The Plague on the Firstborn

Ex 11:1 Now the LORD had said to Moses, “I will bring one more plague on Pharaoh and on Egypt. After that, he will let you go d from here, and when he does, he will drive you out completely. e
Ex 11:2 Tell the people that men and women alike are to ask their neighbors for articles of silver and gold.” f
Ex 11:3 (The LORD made the Egyptians favorably disposed g toward the people, and Moses himself was highly regarded h in Egypt by Pharaoh’s officials and by the people.)
Ex 11:4 So Moses said, “This is what the LORD says: ‘About midnight i I will go throughout Egypt. j
Ex 11:5 Every firstborn k son in Egypt will die, from the firstborn son of Pharaoh, who sits on the throne, to the firstborn son of the slave girl, who is at her hand mill, l and all the firstborn of the cattle as well.
Ex 11:6 There will be loud wailing m throughout Egypt—worse than there has ever been or ever will be again.
Ex 11:7 But among the Israelites not a dog will bark at any man or animal.’ Then you will know that the LORD makes a distinction n between Egypt and Israel.
Ex 11:8 All these officials of yours will come to me, bowing down before me and saying, ‘Go, o you and all the people who follow you!’ After that I will leave.” p Then Moses, hot with anger, left Pharaoh.
Ex 11:9 The LORD had said to Moses, “Pharaoh will refuse to listen q to you—so that my wonders r may be multiplied in Egypt.”
Ex 11:10 Moses and Aaron performed all these wonders before Pharaoh, but the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart, s and he would not let the Israelites go out of his country.

The Passover

12:14-20 pp—Lev 23:4-8; Nu 28:16-25; Dt 16:1-8

Ex 12:1 The LORD said to Moses and Aaron in Egypt,
Ex 12:2 “This month is to be for you the first month, t the first month of your year.
Ex 12:3 Tell the whole community of Israel that on the tenth day of this month each man is to take a lamb u for his family, one for each household. v
Ex 12:4 If any household is too small for a whole lamb, they must share one with their nearest neighbor, having taken into account the number of people there are. You are to determine the amount of lamb needed in accordance with what each person will eat.
Ex 12:5 The animals you choose must be year-old males without defect, w and you may take them from the sheep or the goats.
Ex 12:6 Take care of them until the fourteenth day of the month, x when all the people of the community of Israel must slaughter them at twilight. y
Ex 12:7 Then they are to take some of the blood z and put it on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the houses where they eat the lambs.
Ex 12:8 That same night a they are to eat the meat roasted b over the fire, along with bitter herbs, c and bread made without yeast. d
Ex 12:9 Do not eat the meat raw or cooked in water, but roast it over the fire—head, legs and inner parts. e
Ex 12:10 Do not leave any of it till morning; f if some is left till morning, you must burn it.
Ex 12:11 This is how you are to eat it: with your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet and your staff in your hand. Eat it in haste; g it is the LORD'S Passover. h
Ex 12:12 “On that same night I will pass through i Egypt and strike down j every firstborn k —both men and animals—and I will bring judgment on all the gods l of Egypt. I am the LORD. m
Ex 12:13 The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over n you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt. o
Ex 12:14 “This is a day you are to commemorate; p for the generations to come you shall celebrate it as a festival to the LORD—a lasting ordinance. q
Ex 12:15 For seven days you are to eat bread made without yeast. r On the first day remove the yeast from your houses, for whoever eats anything with yeast in it from the first day through the seventh must be cut off s from Israel.
Ex 12:16 On the first day hold a sacred assembly, and another one on the seventh day. Do no work t at all on these days, except to prepare food for everyone to eat—that is all you may do.
Ex 12:17 “Celebrate the Feast of Unleavened Bread, u because it was on this very day that I brought your divisions out of Egypt. v Celebrate this day as a lasting ordinance for the generations to come. w
Ex 12:18 In the first month x you are to eat bread made without yeast, from the evening of the fourteenth day until the evening of the twenty-first day.
Ex 12:19 For seven days no yeast is to be found in your houses. And whoever eats anything with yeast in it must be cut off y from the community of Israel, whether he is an alien z or native-born.
Ex 12:20 Eat nothing made with yeast. Wherever you live, a you must eat unleavened bread.” b
Ex 12:21 Then Moses summoned all the elders of Israel and said to them, “Go at once and select the animals for your families and slaughter the Passover c lamb.
Ex 12:22 Take a bunch of hyssop, d dip it into the blood in the basin and put some of the blood e on the top and on both sides of the doorframe. Not one of you shall go out the door of his house until morning.
Ex 12:23 When the LORD goes through the land to strike f down the Egyptians, he will see the blood g on the top and sides of the doorframe and will pass over h that doorway, and he will not permit the destroyer i to enter your houses and strike you down.
Ex 12:24 “Obey these instructions as a lasting ordinance j for you and your descendants.
Ex 12:25 When you enter the land k that the LORD will give you as he promised, observe this ceremony.
Ex 12:26 And when your children l ask you, ‘What does this ceremony mean to you?’
Ex 12:27 then tell them, ‘It is the Passover m sacrifice to the LORD, who passed over the houses of the Israelites in Egypt and spared our homes when he struck down the Egyptians.’ ” n Then the people bowed down and worshiped. o
Ex 12:28 The Israelites did just what the LORD commanded p Moses and Aaron.
Ex 12:29 At midnight q the LORD r struck down all the firstborn s in Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh, who sat on the throne, to the firstborn of the prisoner, who was in the dungeon, and the firstborn of all the livestock t as well.
Ex 12:30 Pharaoh and all his officials and all the Egyptians got up during the night, and there was loud wailing u in Egypt, for there was not a house without someone dead.

The Exodus

Ex 12:31 During the night Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said, “Up! Leave my people, you and the Israelites! Go, worship v the LORD as you have requested.
Ex 12:32 Take your flocks and herds, w as you have said, and go. And also bless x me.”
Ex 12:33 The Egyptians urged the people to hurry y and leave z the country. “For otherwise,” they said, “we will all die!” a
Ex 12:34 So the people took their dough before the yeast was added, and carried it on their shoulders in kneading troughs b wrapped in clothing.
Ex 12:35 The Israelites did as Moses instructed and asked the Egyptians for articles of silver and gold c and for clothing. d
Ex 12:36 The LORD had made the Egyptians favorably disposed e toward the people, and they gave them what they asked for; so they plundered f the Egyptians.
Ex 12:37 The Israelites journeyed from Rameses g to Succoth. h There were about six hundred thousand men i on foot, besides women and children.
Ex 12:38 Many other people j went up with them, as well as large droves of livestock, both flocks and herds.
Ex 12:39 With the dough they had brought from Egypt, they baked cakes of unleavened bread. The dough was without yeast because they had been driven out k of Egypt and did not have time to prepare food for themselves.
Ex 12:40 Now the length of time the Israelite people lived in Egypt was 430 years. l
Ex 12:41 At the end of the 430 years, to the very day, all the LORD'S divisions m left Egypt. n
Ex 12:42 Because the LORD kept vigil that night to bring them out of Egypt, on this night all the Israelites are to keep vigil to honor the LORD for the generations to come. o _
