WASHINGTON (AFP) – Myanmar is likely to hold elections around September but they are shaping up to be a "farce" with democracy icon Aung San Suu Kyi unable to run, Philippine Foreign Secretary Alberto Romulo said Friday.

On a visit to Washington, Romulo said he expected the fellow Southeast Asian nation's military regime to release Nobel laureate Aung San Suu Kyi, who has spent most of the past 20 years under house arrest.

I am sure Philippines Foreign Secretary Alberto Romulo must have a lot of things to do for his own country, a lot of domestic issuesto deal with. Was he paying a visit to US, on behalf of Philippines or on behalf of NLD in Union of Myanmar. I am sure Alberto was trying to please his host. Out spoken he may be, but never against US, he has no guts to do so. His country's survival
totally depend on the support of the US.

What is Alberto doing about his corrupt government? What about the poverty in his country, etc., etc. Meaning, every nations has its own problems , all leaders of all nations are trying their best under circumstances, as situations arise.

Myanmar never allowed itself to interfere in the domestic affairs of the Philippines, or any other nation. If Alberto thinks elections in Union of Myanma is a ‘ farce’ that is his view, that is his opinion.

Alberto Romulo should concentrate and help Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III to win the next Philippines election and secure his post as Foreign Secretary.

Philippines is one of US puppet countries . It’s Foreign Minister Alberto Romulo has to say what US likes to hear, especially while he is on a visiting to US. He himself is breathing with the nose of the US. Philippines must support US , it knows very well that it has no choice but to seek protection of the US like Thailand. They have committed great sins on their neighbours brotherly countries.

Alberto Romulo must never forget the history of his own country. The past and the present of his country. He must especially remember the late opposition leader Aquino and the late President Ferdinand Marcos very well and how one had to die because of being a puppet of US as well as and how one has to exile and protected by the US.

In Union of Myanmar , nobody was , no opposition leader was shot dead on the tarmac of a run way or in any other place. That kind of thing will never ever happened in Union of Myanmar, only in Philippines/

In Union of Myanmar nobody has to seek sanctuary in Hawaii or seek protection by the US and the west . In a way this woman Mrs Aris is just being protected by everyone, Especially by SPDC which does no want to get blame for her death. Whoever does whatever to her , if any harm comes SPDC will get the blame.

In politic, politicians will say anything , they will do anything, anything can happened, powerful nations can do anything including assassinations and blame others

Democracy is coming back to Union of Myanmar. One sesame seed gives no oil. she is of no relevant, because Union of Myanmar had Democracy before . That was without her. She was not there in Union of Myanmar never near there.

Noble Peace Prize , was awarded to her for trying to break up the Union of Myanmar, to beak up the unity of Myanmars.

Another Noble Peace Prize was awarded to US President Barak Obama for sending more troops to Afghanistan to kill innocent people, inviting back mistrust and cold war again. Russia and China and many others are no fools. It’s obvious, what the west is doing to the world , what the west intends to do to Union of Myanmar with her inside Myanmar . At least a Satellite country for the west. If war brakes out, Union of Myanmar be a battle field, people of Myanmars has to die first, Union of Myanmar be destroyed first.

If situation are bad or getting worse, they will lay their carpet in the pools of Myanmars blood and they will talk Peace and make Peace among themselves.

Mrs Aris cannot take any credit for anything. She is just sitting on the carpet that laid in the pool of the students and others blood. She is not sacrificing anything, according to Buddhism, she is herself suffering, because she makes the whole country suffer, the whole population suffer. She is enjoying every moment of her life.

For the return of Democracy to Union of Myanmar, if credits were to be given it has to be given to the students, starting from Yangon Institute of Technology and other universities and SPDC.

Genuine, disciplined democracy for Union of Myanmar means, not the cheap democracy on the streets or from the streets, Alberto must know. Myanmars deserve the better democracy than the democracy they had before. It must be the best. Myanmars don’t deserve less than the best democracy. Myanmars needs special democracy under special situation and circumstances.

All the private armies, under the command of their respective War Lords must come clean , transparency and accountability. They must give up their armed insurrections, and believe in democracy.

In the eyes of the majority of the people her status does not change, she is still Mrs Aris from England, with a slave mentality to make all Myanmars slaves again in the name of her late husband, not necessarily in the name of Democracy or human rights
In the mean time because of her, Myanmars are already suffering more than enough, more then their share, while she is having all the good times in her own home.

If she is allowed, there are many others to be allowed. Union of Myanmar is not for every Tom , Dick and Harry to be govern , in the name of Democracy.

The best is, if Alberto or anybody has any concerned , they should take her into their country. And give her a suitable job, according to her qualification, at least political asylum. Nobody knows what kind of government will come up after the election in Union of Myanmar. Everybody is hoping the fate of Aquino and the fate of Russia’s Czar Nicholas and family in 1917 -18, or the fate of Ko Aung San will not visit Union of Myanmar .

Not to forget Ko Aung San who happened to be the father of Mrs Aris was assassinated during British rule in British Burma in 1947, by an Anglophile U Saw. There are many threats by these Anglophiles or, Americanophiles make on the present leaders of Union of Myanmar as well as on the leaders of other countries who resists the pressures of the west.

What these some Myanmar people who has no value of their own forget is that the present leaders of Union of Myanmar are soldiers, they are professional solders, seasoned soldiers, they are the back bone of the nation. They know what they are doing, they know what they must do. . To die for their people, to die for the people defending and protecting the nation and the people is the great honour.

If the Myanmar politicians are doing their job right, Myanma Military does not have to do the job of the politicians. Myanmar military cannot allow any politician to sell the people and the nation to others , or rent it out .Union of Myanmar and its people are not for sale, not for hire either.

There may be some senseless people among Myanmars. That is in every society or any people in any country. Most Myanmars are civilised people , they have the value of their own, that is human value. No matter how much some other Myanmars have lost their value, they priced themselves , the value of majority of Myanmar is still there.
their value , is priceless.

Myanmars live on realities, face the realities , they don’t live on dreams, they don‘t give false hopes .
