UN chief Ban warned over risky Myanmar visit
UN chief Ban Ki-moon prepared Thursday for a risky visit to Myanmar
amid warnings that the trip will be a "huge failure" if he fails to
secure the release of detained opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi.

Dear Myanmar Myo Chits, Patriots,

UN Chief Ban Ki Moon have many reasons to visit Union of Myanmar.
His last visit was to see the victims of Nargis and how his various
teams were doing in helping the needy.

What is the reason for his visit? What is his objective? Is Ban Ki Moon a poodle of NLD and opposition? One of the servants in Mrs Aris house, one of her helpers?

Opposition is surely treating him UN Chief like that. They are asking him to do what they want for them.

Now a year aftermath , Ban needs to see for himself the progress in
the delta area of Myanmar, how his teams were doing, what needs to do
more, What he needs to be able to help more in money or in material
terms to achieve his goals, his objectives or onbehalf of United
Nations, in helping the Nargis Victims in Unio0n of Myanmar. That is
his priority , that is his aim .

Mr Ben Ki Mon’s visit can be look at from different angle. He
doesn’t need to go to Myanmar, if he trust what his teams in Myanmar
are doing, act on their reliable reports. Does he not trust them his own people?

As opposition hinted , and wanted him and his visit to bring Mrs
Aris. under the spot light again. That is how politic works, how diplomacy
works. That is what opposition wants, whether Ben sees Mrs Aris or
not. The more they bring her under the spot light, the more the people see her true face, tyhe close up.

Today Mrs Aris is being accused of some crimes. She is a criminal in
the dock. She is not Mrs Aris of yesterday. She may be a political
character, but let’s face it , the case against her together with
Yettaw is nothing to do with any politic, absolutely nothing.
Ban Ki Moon meeting criminal? If so, he has to see otyer criminals, as well
Lets's say Osama bin Ladin and othe Al Qaida leadership.

The case of Monica Lewinski and Bill Clinton had nothing to do with
the ability of Bill Clinton as President of United States of America.
Monica Lewinski mad statements but she did not make official
complaint ,she did not filoe against Bill Clinton. So is Mrs. Aris
she did not file a case against Yettaw. She did not report of his
visit to the authorities. What was she doing she and some of them
will only know.

Will Ban Ki Moon look into this case as well? Lets say these are
nothing.

Ban Ki Moon as UN chief has some rersponsibilities. Frankly speaking,
there are people of Myanmar, I don’t know how many of them, who are
in bed shape , their sutiations are very much worse than Mrs Aris.
They are in need of help more, much more than Mrs. Aris. Their lives
have been totally shattered by the Nargis and because of economic
sanctions.

Others all over Union Myanmar more or less have difficulties, living
their lives, because of Mrs Aris stance against SPDC. Because her , in
favour of her, some nations impose economic sanctions on Myanmar.
Because of her some nations isolate Myanmar. Victimising Myanmar and
the people of Myanmar. Some nations killing Myanmars slowly. Myanmars
to face slow death.

Why not Mrs Aris face a slow death of her own, as she has committed
crimes against humanity on the rest of Myanmars in Union of
Myanmar. .

All that opposition care of is the welfare of Mrs Aris, not the
welfare 57 million people of Myanmar. The opposition and their
supporters don’t care whether others 57 million live or die. Whatever
happened to them, they don't want to know.

Myanmar is not that much isolated as much as the west want to see. But
that is not to be glad about. Myanmar is not isolating itself, the so
called IC isolate Myanmar on behalf of Mrs. Aris.

The facts are, there are those who do not believe in isolation, who do
not believe in economic sanctions, who do not believe in imposing
their will on others , who do not believe in telling other how to live
their lives. There are those who do not believe in using any kind of
force on others or forcing others to do things they want them to do
through black mail through victimisations . Because they believe any
force is undesirable , it could cause. and create violence, no force
can be called “ peaceful ” no force can be called none violent .

The fact of the matter is these some of the countries have gone before
what Myanmar is going through . They know exactly what Myanmar is
going through. They feel it as if Myanmar is them. They know it all ,
they have experienced them by themselves. They know the taste of it,
they know the feeling of it.

Ben Ki Moon will and should concentrate on the victims of Nargis. The
progress of his objectives , through his teams on other UN programmes
in Myanmar. Ben Ki Moon should know and recognise that there are 57
million Myanmar in Union of Myanmar. Mrs Aris is only one. Mrs Aris.
Ban Ki Moon must choose between One Mrs Aris and 57 millions people of
Myanmars.

I hope he will make a wise choice. He will make a right choice, because he is nobody's puppet.

Chapter XV - The Secretariat

Article 97
The Secretariat shall comprise a Secretary-General and such staff as the Organization may require. The Secretary-General shall be appointed by the General Assembly upon the recommendation of the Security Council. He shall be the chief administrative officer of the Organization.

Article 98
The Secretary-General shall act in that capacity in all meetings of the General Assembly, of the Security Council, of the Economic and Social Council, and of the Trusteeship Council, and shall perform such other functions as are entrusted to him by these organs. The Secretary-General shall make an annual report to the General Assembly on the work of the Organization.

Article 99
The Secretary-General may bring to the attention of the Security Council any matter which in his opinion may threaten the maintenance of international peace and security.

Article 100
1. In the performance of their duties the Secretary-General and the staff shall not seek or receive instructions from any government or from any other authority external to the Organization. They shall refrain from any action which might reflect on their position as international officials responsible only to the Organization.

2. Each Member of the United Nations undertakes to respect the exclusively international character of the responsibilities of the Secretary-General and the staff and not to seek to influence them in the discharge of their responsibilities.

Article 101
1. The staff shall be appointed by the Secretary-General under regulations established by the General Assembly.

2. Appropriate staffs shall be permanently assigned to the Economic and Social Council, the Trusteeship Council, and, as required, to other organs of the United Nations. These staffs shall form a part of the Secretariat.

3. The paramount consideration in the employment of the staff and in the determination of the conditions of service shall be the necessity of securing the highest standards of efficiency, competence, and integrity. Due regard shall be paid to the importance of recruiting the staff on as wide a geographical basis as possible.

First I like to thank sailek. for the information. everyone should read it thoroughly, till they understand the manings, and digest it. Yet it may be subject to one's interpretation, and one's translation.

When Ban Ki Moon go to Myanmar. He will be the guest of honour.
He will be treated accordingly, if not special treatments.
He will have best guest house, he will have best food.
He will have best of everything, despise Myanmar is a poor nation, despise Myanmars are poor people.

He is an educated person , he is a diplomat.
Ban Ki Moon must look at the realities of Myanmar and its people.

Even he is just as a ordinary person , he is intelligent enough to know what really happening in Myanmar.

He is intelligent enough to know who is causing what, in Myanmar.

He is intelligent enough to know what SPDC is doing everything possible to establish geniun democracy in Union of Myanmar.

I hope he won't upset the host so much. I hope he won't be carried away by the opposition's propagandas.

AS UN Chief, He should not side with any one. He should not be influenced by any one. He should not be undermined by any one.

Ban Ki Moon must open all doors and windows to have fresh air for himself.
He should not close any of them.

If he does , he will be suffocated with the stinking smell of the opposition, he will have breathing problem for sure.
