Today, six years ago, nine French naval engineers and technicians have been killed in Pakistan. It was not an accident. There were targeted with a bomb on the bus which has collected them at their hotel. They were their to help Pakistanese Navy to use submarines. So, Why ? Are not the Islamic fundamentalists interested to have a strong and independent country ? What a shame on them !
In Myanmar, after the terrible cyclone, the military junta prefers to block the international aid than to have not a full control on it. May be, a lot of Burmese will have that in mind on May 10 referendum if their vote is free

All the demonstrators did was to ask for better living conditions for the Burmese people. In return they got jailed. Happily the nine arrested were released again today. But the episode reminds me of my own humble experience of being trailed by two Burmese police men on a motor bike through the streets of Rangoon.
